Whose scandal was a bigger deal, Steve Yoo's military evasion or Seungri's Burning Sun?

It's the first time I'm hearing about Steve Yoo scandal .. did it happen long time ago??

When you say "Seungri's Burning Sun", are you specifically referring to only the case of his involvement with that specific club? Or the whole constellation of assorted crimes?

If it's just Seungri's involvement with the club, then Steve Yoo's case is bigger (and definitely more long lasting). If it's the whole assorted bag of crimes associated with the label of the Burning Sun scandal, then that one's bigger.

Seungri scandal is worse cuz the other guy didn't hurt other people but himself

In Korea, i think the Steve Yoo scandal was way bigger, the outrage literally forced Korea to overhaul its draft laws. Seungri only impacted BB and YG, Kpop as a whole continued to thrive afterwards.

sy was also loved by the public, he had a very clean image and everybody from many ages admired him compared to seungri who had a bad reputation already but even then nobody except him to be involved in the whole burning sun mess

I saw this link in Yoo Seung-jun's Wikipedia page. Apparently, he may be able to return to South Korea:
