  • She has one of the biggest glow ups in Kpop ever. No one could've have ever saw it coming, not this extent at least.

From someone who barely had any lines to the point she questioned what's the point of her singing, being incredibly shy and quiet on TV that her segments would regularly get cut and the absue she got because didn't fit the beauty standard to now becoming a TV star often getting high ratings, a smorgasbord of solo activists including in the make up and beauty field, and now being a solo artist in her own right.

When she said she had an interest in DJing SM rejected her proposal. That didn't stop her, she then wrote a long message to LSM to try to convince them to let her try and soon she got the green light and was even aloud her own music production team. Now here we are where shes putting out some of the best and most diverse music in kpop. All that from SNSD weakest singer, really shows how fucking stacked SNSD is talent wise.

She pretty much had to do everything the hard way, she is the epitome of hard work and focus paying off.

Meanwhile, Sunny bun is the sheer definition of 'potential unfulfilled' ;(

Sunny had vocals that'd equal and surpass many main vocalists of 3rd/4th gen and was technically actually better than Tiffany, she's a top tier variety queen, and her stage presence as shown in her 'Three' and 'Bloom' performances is among the most versatile and as top rank as I've seen among 2nd gen idols, at her top she's easily among the best in stage presence around.

Sunny has such strong top tier talents, she was unique, she could've made it big - yet nothing came from that all :(

It's painful to see Sunny's wild, unbound enthusiasm, passion and energy from the first few years of SNSD, and then compare it with the latter years. It feels like after Jessica left and her knee injury - maybe even before, but afterwards it became more visible - that she has simply given up, and settled for quiet and simple gigs.

She was my very first bias in K-pop
