Mint is really pretty, but not a traditional visual by korean standards. Preference wise she was the most beautiful in Tiny G for me.
Mako when she's not dancing is only average by girl group standards of prettiness.
Mako taking center stage during the Take a Picture dance performance was an absolute final boss though. And generally any time she covers 2PM.

Yes as the minimum requirement for an Idol is being a Visual, Visual means Physical Looks and Physical Performance like Dancing, Acting, Modelling and Hosting.
Visual refers to something you need to see as opposed to Music where you only need to listen to.
Anyway, the Visual Role is almost always the Actor or Actresses of the Group, this is generally the Visual that people refer to
