Do good grades matter?

In the overall scheme of things, good grades as on all A and above, no.

Joining and being active in clubs and school activities are more important in the long run. And of course, being strret smart, connections etc...

i feel like starting high school, it's pretty important to start thinking about your grades since colleges are looking for those specifically. though of course you may have already decided not to go to college, your choice. but don't make your life hell by just thinking about grades.

It matters to get you into a good universities. And that is important to secure a bright future.

Depends of the country you live.

Where I live, and depending of what working field you might get in the future, it doesn't matter much if you study well or have any knowledge (source: real life experiences with incompetent people who are just confident, but have few knowledge in their fields).

Interpersonal skills and networking is what matters.

Too bad that I realized it too late.
