Is VMA's still a thing? My country stopped broadcasting this program years ago. Only the Billboard awards, the American Music Awards and the Grammys are still airing.

Tbh Idk anymore. Bcos since MOTS7 they havent had any PO period less than 6 weeks. MOTS7 have 6 weeks PO period while BE have almost 2 months of PO period if I remember correctly. Butter CD the only exception (3 weeks of PO) probably bcos it's a physical single.

So if they really going to CB early sept they gonna have to have the PO announced soon. I think late Sept/Early-Mid Oct is more likely. They probably wont be pushing their Korean album for Grammys anyway. They can just perform Butter/PTD at the VMAs if they are invited. It's still considered as a new promoted single anyway. And it seems like they are still pushing for PTD promos atm.

I wanted to say to check Run BTS! schedule when it comes back next week for a clue.

Usually they stop broadcasting it when promotions are coming. If we get Run episodes next week and up until 31st of August/7th of September then we might not be clowns

On the other hand I feel like PTD was not too long ago and then there's the Coldplay song to keep them "afloat" in the GP/media interest (as in no need to release an album). I hope everyone understands what I mean with this since I can't explain any better haha.

They might use Butter for the Grammy push and maybe release a "no stress" album regarding awards around October/November just like BE. This might be their tease for a tour next year if things keep going the way they are right now. (I believe they might try a tour ASAP because of the Jin/Suga situation coming up unless the UN representation thing works as their enlistment... but that's another can of worms)

Jin and Suga do not need to enlist as they can apply for postponement. The BTS law has come into effect in July and I am pretty sure they are accepting the postponement. Jin's enlistment date would then in all likelihood get extended to Dec 2023 if I am not mistaken.

Ah you're right! I thought the extension would apply only until December 2022 for Jin
