Ok so this is inspired by a recent post about Twice's Jeongyeon and also from watching a lot of K-pop videos from 2009 to now. This is nothing against any of these girls, but their stylists.
My simple observation is that most stylists have no idea how to style figures that aren't thin or small waisted. Sometimes they get the styling right but a lot of the time not. It shouldn't be so damn hard to find pictures of good styling fyi
For example, Jeogyeon is one of these cases
Good styling (compliments her figure)
Bad Styling (Why did they have to do that to her, those shoulder pads just make it even worse)
4minute's Jihyun (she doesn't have much of a waist, she is rather straight in her torso)
Good styling (not tight around her torso so it looks really nice)

Bad styling (honestly this dress wasn't a great choice, it made her look way bigger than she is)
Purple Kiss's Swan (I love Swan and she is young but her stylist needs to be fired)
Good Styling (2nd from left, this was one of the more flattering outfits she wore during these promotions)
Bad styling (I think it speaks for itself)
Pristin's Kyla
Good styling

There are heaps more but these are a few that come to mind. Stylists need to learn to style different body types because like it or not, they are becoming more varied in this day and age.
