The Y in 'ITZY' stands for Yuna

You would say the same if Somi never left and Yuna never got into the group

If she got into the the group then I guess it's because JYP saw that she has talent despite her age.

JYPE girl groups are full of iconic and essential members. Imagining Itzy without Yuna would be like imagining Twice without Momo. Both almost happened and the groups would never ever have been the same.

I can't either! She adds so much personality to Itzy! I know six is a weird number for a group, but I still wish Somi had debuted with them

She gets more individualism with the Black Label, but she comes back like once a year. I think she also shines in a group better than as a solo.

Somi would've sucked all the focus onto her and Knets' comments towards her have become more negative over the past year or so. With Yuna the vibe is more positive and there's a feeling of balance

Somi was too tall for itzy , I know Yeji and Yuna are 5'7 but they're both same height so it balances but Somi height was kinda out of place?

I'm happy that Somi haven't join Itzy.....I love Somi and I always looking forward for her debut but if Somi would have debut with itzy it would always be Somi and the other girls.

Somi's voice wouldn't suit ITZY's style tbh

Glad Yuna came through, she brings so much energy to the group I love her

Somi has much more potential as a soloist and yuna is the essential maknae of itzy. I'm glad things played out as they did.
