I actually agree.
Cube has this idea that their trainees do not really "join" together. If that makes sense I feel like CLC, at least at debut had members clash in terms of aura. Not so much now. 4minute was very clashy, at least Jihyun who did not always look swag. Jihyun was one of my biases so this is not hate.
Gidle was the least different of them all but at first Shuhua and Miyeon didn't stand out. Shuhua and Miyeon have gotten better at dancing and they are getting praise for her visuals now, so I think they're more cohesive.
Anyways,
Lightsum do have a nice vocal line. Chowon honestly would have easily fit into Izone's concept.
Nayoung is also stylistic but a nice main vocal. I think Nayoung is actually a bit stronger? Chowon has a great tone but has some throatiness that will probably get better. Around to slightly stronger that Gidle.
Do the others sing in some sort of introduction? I only have heard Vanilla and Nayoung and Chowon's duet. I want to see.
I think they will hit big overseas first and then in korea as many Cube groups do.
well in lightsum i'd say
chowon joohyun and sangah seem fierce/girlcrush
yujeong nayoung and hina are cute
and jian and hwiyeon are somewhere in the middle
cube shouldve made 2 groups of 4 instead of lightsum because its such a shame

I agree they should've lesser members.
But they debuted already and let's see what more they have to offer as a group.

Didn't like it at first but the Vanilla- nilla- nilla wouldn't leave my head for a while after I heard it. Decided to relisten to it and now I ADORE IT
