We call them by their full names.
As in Nayeon, Jungkook, Jisoo etc etc etc.
I am just quoting some of the idols that I like. Don't read too much into it.
But their actual names are Na Yeon, Jung Kook, Ji Soo (in romanised translation, Hangul (notice 2 syllables): 나연, 정국, 지수 )
Because in SK having two names is pretty much the norm.
Shouldn't we respect their names and call them by their actual chosen names?
Because they are two (at least in these cases).

So, just like we call actress and actor?
Youre mistaken, you just said their names phonetically. For example Tae Yeon and Taeyeon are the same thing, the former is how each syllable is said/written individual. Kim is her surname is a different word. Kim Taeyeon is her full name.
Or more simply Taeyeon is their official given name in English which they use all the time so there is no need to do anything with most idols names.
