Basically saying ifans have double standards when it comes to cultural sensitivity: they demand a lot of it from Koreans but refuse to reciprocate when Koreans get upset
Koreans netizens call out ifans on their hypocrisy

Cute.

Some points are valid and other aren't, also I-fans never defended any artist when they wore the rising flag

I know. I'm saying the fact that it's referred to as "reggae hair" is ignorant lol

Urmmm. Is the author willfully ignorant to the fact that many actually stood against bullies or idols in sexual assault cases? Also do they expect us to jump into conclusions before evidence is brought up? I don’t think majority sides with the rising sun flag and all the issues pointed out are valid (e.g. headband). Perhaps the author should reflect on his/her post and stop being so ignorant.

Someone already posted this so you may not get as many hits for this.
Anyway, I tend to agree regarding the hypocrisy. People are funny that way.
It's a pervasive human trait that extends beyond the usual suspects. We all dabble in it from time to time to varying degrees, expecting things of others we don't do ourselves.

Lol. Those mothefuck...s have no shame. Those Knetizens spent all their time talking shit about everybody and know they are going to say something to us? FU..K TH..M
PD: BTW, nothing more hypocrite than a Black Kpop stan mad about Dreads. Bit..h, if you are going to be mad about CA start with the idea that kpop "stole" the music made by blacks to be what it is now. So one thing is cultural integration and the other is CA? Fu..k this bitch..s, they only complain about this because being woke is popular now. -
Honestly I agree with some things. People do call Koreans sensitive multiple times when they get offended with things involving their culture and history. I've seen a lot of anti Korean comments being supported on this forum. Anyway, I've always found the hypocrisy of international fans funny.
"1. Add "whitewashing" to this list too... they are going crazy over fansite masters who upload pictures of idols who originally had fair skin and accuse them of whitewashing. Then they put some red clay filter on their pictures and say "yeah, that's their natural skin color, this is the member's skin color, do you see how beautiful they are without the whitewashing?"..."
this is hilarious. I've seen a pic where taehyung's skin looked like Trump and people were saying that's his un-whitewashed skin colour with their whole chests. Both the whitewashing and the skin darkening are always on extreme sides of things.

same lol I don't agree with either one lol but sometimes international fans going to the extreme making idols look darker than they actually are lol and when they look a bit darker than normal they scream melanin.
I mean, if someone stands in a shadow it's likely they might look darker or if there is a color cast in a pic that can make someone look more tanned. I get that that whitewashing is unnecessary but so it's darkening their skin color.
