Personally, I think ITZY, G-IDLE, Oh My Girl and Dreamcatcher are all possible of doing it but.....
Dreamcatcher already has a massive hardcore fanbase in Japan. My friend who moved there and knows no K-Pop knows Dreamcatcher, their albums actually do better in Japan thus far than in Korea They even have a fully functional site separate from happyface in Japan that has some of the best design I have seen for a group's site in a long time https://dreamcatcher-official.jp/ the site has full HD photos in immaculate quality. They have been featured on multiple Japan OSTs, their albums currently in Japan have sold double what they sell in Korea, and that is for their Korean albums/EPs not including their Japan album which sold over 15,000 the first week of it's release in Japan. I also can see them dragging G-IDLE up to their level of success just by pure similar sounds as well. (Not that I think Idle needs Dreamcather's fanbase to succeed by any means) Because with Idle's newer more recent sounds it is much more rock oriented which is something Japan tends to lean on even in their pop and girl crush idol groups. I honestly think if Dreamcatcher renews their contracts this year as I suspect they will, they are going to dominate the Japanese scene and be how Japan views Idol GGs for this generation since statistics are already leaning in their favor for the Japan market, very very heavily.

None tbh. Twice have basically committed themselves to being a KPOP group and a JPOP group at this point. And so I don't see a girl group ever being as recognizable to the Japanese public as Twice are. literally grannies over there have heard of Twice and go to their dome tours.
But if I were to pick, other than Iz*one (if they don't disband and cuz they alr have presence there)
I'd say Itzy? cuz JYP / JYPE are loved in japan b/c of TWICE, 2PM, and now NiziU
