All that is stopping my girls of entering the list is a proper debut over there. MIM was still trending over there after 28 days.

It's amazing that they do this (and all merits to them) but I can bet this is the Twice effect

Wow Exo did nothing since 2018 and they still ranked so high, the power.

Also I’m so surprised with Seventeen, they have the highest public interest I’m so proud of them!

Bts also barely promoted in Japan this year and as always, they had a excellent performance.

I sincerely believe that if SM had promoted EXO in Japan, like HYBE does with BTS, EXO would be by far the number 1 kpop group in Japan.

I don’t know if they would be the most successful but as far as I’m concerned SM’s mismanagement in properly promoting EXO in Japan is their biggest mistake.

KARA really were the queens of the K-pop wave in Japan. Only matched by BoA (female soloist) and THSK (boy group) and Rain (male soloist). (Though THSK isn't on this graph?)
