Why do some companies sabotage their own artists?

I always ask me the same maybe because they don't see any profit with them anymore

Internal conflicts inside the management team ?

It's always hard to know why a company doesn't want money, I agree.

cause they all get their shot at hte start and if some dont show growth, they're not worth spending on anymore

same for athletes

easy. Bias, prejudice, lack of foresight.

Lots of these companies don't listen to the fanbases and/or the artists and already sometimes have formed terrible first impressions/ heavy bias against the group -- so yea there's that.

i don't rlly think jype sabotaged got7 in the beginning of their career. they had everything a new bg from a big 3 company would have and were pushed immensely. jype just gave up on them when they couldn't capture the audience they wanted.

ive been a kpop fan for way too long and i dont know how got7 was getting bigger

their fandom might have grown, as do most groups' but public recognition was as low as ever

for a company like JYP who have always had artists with great public presence, that might have been a failure of an investment

its pretty natural

same happens in any field where competition is high

you want investment, you have to bring in the results that your sponsor specifically seeks from you or they'll move on to someone better

SNSD was sabotaged as punishment because not all of them renewed.

T-ara, an already rising girl group who already had a national hit (Bo Peep) and a general public hit (I go crazy because of you) HAD FOR SOME FRIGGING REASON A RANDOM ASS MEMBER BE ADDED. And then said member is their downfall by letting the public think she was bullied when in reality her and her twin sister were the ones who were bullying the brand new member.

So.........screw you MBK.
