They don’t care about it because they grew out from being into comics or cartoons like most adult. Yet there’s still that memory or nostalgia from their younger years when they were impressed by superhero characters

it's obvious it's working and you can see that simply on the fact of how much interest they gained since the first teasers of next level and how many people who criticized the ai concept first like the idea now. Of course there will be people that don't care about it, that's a rule to everything. But there will definitely a massive amount of fans invested, so you don't even have to ask about people getting bored.

The ai concept gave SO MUCH publicity to aespa. Even those who disliked it couldn't shut up about it, and now that SM revealed what the ai represent, it's pretty much a uno card to the criticism it initially received.

Theories are for the fandom, if they keep like this they can build a strong core fandom.

The girls are pretty and talented, as long as they get good songs, they will be okay with the public.

Wait until they make another thread saying that the new teaser sucks or "It's Blackpink 2.0!!1!!1!"

I think it will depend on how engaging the stories are. Something SM has to be very mindful of is the details of the videos and the music.

For example, three languages were spoken in the Aespa-EP vid.

• Is it typical for South Koreans to speak mostly Korean and switch up to English to ask a question about what a French phrase means even in an educational environment?
• Would it be more effective to have a version in South Korean and (maybe) English to attract a global music and gaming audience?

About the music, I think it should set the biggest impression as a foundational building block. If the music is weak or flawed in a noticable way, it's not going to support what they are trying to acheive as well as it should.

For example, Disney's Kingdom Hearts. The in-game music is memorable in itself, but a song that is even more memorable and connected to Kingdom Hearts is Utada Hikaru's song "Sanctuary". It emotionally connects so well that you can't help but think about Kingdom Hearts when you hear the song. SM has to learn how to produce and master music that connects on the same level. Otherwise, people will eventual see through the hype of how the music does or doesn't support the SMCU vision on the level that it should.
