Idk this is so weird. Some people speculate that this is a pre-release and an album will come soon bcz in billboard interview they say Aespa will have a summer comeback but Next Level will be spring comeback. So maybe the showcase is supposed to be for the album

SM like YG love their headline grabbing records. I'm not massively surprised by this.

My bet is Next Level is a pre-release and an album is coming after. SM might be planning to break records with the debut album so they want to collect new fans & build a strong fanbase first with the first comeback.

SM clearly doesn't want MYs money but yea we kinda expected this and a lot of us ranted and raged in the guild but Karina teasers made us hyped but still rip their music show wins.. Digital monsts coming soon and physicals ugh
