For thousands of year women have been paying the price for men's stupidity because they love to kill each other so I am not surprised they will be dragged into this mess too.

If the korean men don't want to, what's stopping korean women to start a petition with the things you mentioned? I don't believe these petitions have any sort of gender restriction

I doubt this is going to make their army any more prepared then it is already. You need motivated well trained soldiers in an army regardless of the gender, and of course those soldiers need to choose to be there

Taking korean teenagers and making them train for 16 months won't make anybody a soldier

actually military enlistment is not about making anybody a soldier it's for every country's own unity since it is aimed at setting mindset that one should love and save their own country, i have went to half military camp when i was in middle & high school and it was so difficult but why korean men want to include women in conscription?

I disagree because female biology anatomy allows people with uterus to get pregnant, and is gonna get really messy if they want pregnant people to enlist obligated and not as volunteer

Seeing the current birth rate in Korea I suppose this is actually not an issue, rather the opposite. Women in Korea don't get pregnant anymore. With a negligible 0.84 birth per women in 2020 this folks are heading fast towards their own extinctions in some centuries

I'm sure deep down Korean government want them to stay home and make babies lol

I mean, right now no, but supposedly when it comes to natality and countries, there is always a cycle where after a period of development there is a crisis that booms up natalities again, or at least that what I was taught on school, so the birth rate could always starts going up again
