Is exo still second biggest boy group after bts ?

EXO have not been active as a group so we can't compare for now.

let's see how well their comeback does, especially with digitals and streaming. Neither NCT nor Seventeen have reached the heights of EXO in this regard yet.

physical sales are so inflated these days they're hard to compare to sales four years ago.

NCT and SVT's fandoms might be more active right now but EXO's impact is bigger than those two groups combined tbh.

Considering how baekhyun alone sells, charts in korea and that exo still has better streams on yt and spotify while being inactive I would say yes, they are still 2nd to bts

I think Seventeen and NCT are certainly very strong now, but the fact that EXO’s soloists sold more than many active bg when the group itself has not put out an album since 2019 really speaks to the brand power of the group.

Despite not releasing an album, EXO is still in the top Kpop artists for Twitter, YT

and Spotify. On Spotify, they are ahead of both groups. And that’s before the cb this year..

Looking at the threads about EXO lately I see not us Exo-ls but also nonfans are anticipating Exo's cb

Records are meant to be broken. Exos and the fandom are focusing on solos more rn so it's hard to compare but I can say EXO are already at legend status.

Also each solo is doing amazing. Baek alone can sell 1M, and other members are doing great as well

Exo right now can be seen as a group in hiatus, even if they arent, i mean for new kpop fans its better to stan younger groups like Nct and Seventeen or those from 4th gen

But EXO's fandom is still very strong and we can still feel their impact.

I think their next come back might have higher sales than Nct and Svt
