As a hardcore SNSD lover..... I still have to disagree... BigBang was bigger than SNSD in Japan by a long shot. While they have more of a fanbase in Japan than most K Groups if you compare their discography to J-Pop artists, they did not sell near as much as say an artist like Ayu, Utada Hikaru, or even Indy Japanese artist Aiko. Then if you compare them to other imports, rock bands Audioslave, Linkin Park and even Avenged Sevenfold have outsold them in Japan. I love SNSD with all my soul but let's not pretend they are untouchable.

Yes yes yes. I'm always listening to their Japanese songs. Love how they have so many dancey J-bops but also amazing J-ballads as well (Divine, Indestructible, Time Machine).
