It's good he is acknowledging it and do better in the future.

He's 37 now, and when he debuted as a rapper, he was basically 13. He was never a top-tier vocalist. Honestly, I don't really see him as someone who takes care of his stamina the way a professional singer should.

Because of his status, I think he doesn't receive that much criticism, but it’s still good that he's aware of certain things. Even so, musically, he's someone I can imagine staying on the creative side for many years.

He probably didn't take good enough care of his voice over time, and his lifestyle didn't help matters. It's similar to elite athletes; those with a healthier lifestyle and who take care of themselves have greater physical longevity.

He needs to stick to rapping. He was just fine in Bangbangbang, still one of the greatest BG songs of alltime.
