Is judging whole group badly because you don't like one member ok?

I don't think it's fair to judge a group based on one member. Sure, that person might subtract from the group, but if the other members are good, then it doesn't take too much away from group imo. However, I don't blame anybody if one person brings the group down because that person might be the focal point of the group. I feel if other members are strong, then they should be able to overcome that.

I feel all groups esp if you look at BG’s has that one member that’s hard to like or some how gives of creep vibes. But yeah I usually ignore such a member.

No, but toxically yes. Yes as long as you keep it to YOURSELF! But overall you shouldn't bc these are manufactured groups and can't control who their coworkers are. Let us be kind to those stuck in groups with freaks.

I could never stan a group where I didn't like one of the members. I won't necessarily judge the whole group badly though.

At that point, I'd just solo stan my bias in the group and keep it moving.

If one member did something creepy that is against my personal morals and the other members are still their friends/get along with them and I know It, I will judge all of them. Not equally, but my positive perception will never be the same

I do this for like cross group friends but most groups are formed as teenagers who then fuck up later while being stuck together so I don’t judge too harshly. Lol.

No, it's not okay, because if the others are not problematic they shouldn't be judged, but we could say the same thing about fans as well. They ignore problematic members because they're popular and give them a free pass.

Also, not everyone critize a group because of one member is an idiot or worse. Like, Bigbang is a good example of that. We've had a criminal in the group, and the rest of them did questionable things as well, but the rest of them are not criminals at least.

I was a VIP but I never judged them because of that 1 idiot. He left and everyone else moved on. The rest is up to people what they want to do with these groups. If they want to keep following them, good, if not, good.

I've said it before that a person can cancel or boycott a group or person or company or brand etc etc for whatever the F reason you want...

if you want to judge a group badly that's entirely permissible and within your rights and if you want to judge them badly because of one member that's also within one's right

the issue is the consequences of such actions and whether one's actions in judging amounts to something more than criticism

one is perfectly within one's right to say I don't think group X because I think person Y sucks - she can't sing and her dance is lacking etcetc - all's fair since that is one's opinion just as other people can criticise your opinion and provide their own

I voted no, but now that I think about it, I tend to root against football teams that have a player I don't like.
