Episode 1 with Billi
So Billie isn’t a solo? Someone clearly skipped Naming 101.
Btw second (old lady) was really good at singing.Kep1er send that old woman to cooking class 😆😆😆
Episode 5 with Ateez
Ateez guy danced 2 seconds with a dancer girl. K-pop’s longest romance.
Episode 7 with Kiof
Great performances of both teams. Belle proved she’s legit singer. -

After gatekeeping against Kpop for many years in the west, it's finally been decided "if you can't beat them, join them." I guess.
I think as interest in K-pop grew, they saw an opportunity to quickly produce a simple 8-episode show.

I don't really care about KPOPPED since some people are on it, and they shouldn't. I'm talking about a guy name Boy.
But I'm happy as well because BILLLIE deserved this recognition. They're one of the best girl group with talented members, not just Idols but artists. Not sure if this show will give them any boost tbh, because after a couple of days no one's gonna talk about it, probably. Especially because Apple released every episode all at once.
Also, it looks more like a short collab concert, don't know if they actually said something about these groups or just did some behind the scene shots before the actual performance and that's all.
Patti LaBelle faces says it all, honestly. She was like: Why am I here?😂
But the girls were great and Patti is still amazing!

Even tho I don't like Megan or her songs, like at all.😅

KIOF did amazing as usual but the songs held them back so much. Especially Julie and Haneul with Hold My Hand. Haneul got her moment to shine but Julie is a rapper and the singing parts that she got didn't showcase her talent.
BUT, above all, I am most pissed at S2 for choosing Get Loud as KIOF's performance rather than Igloo like why

Yeah, it is giving KFLOPPED.
Interesting idea, but a bad execution. I cannot see this getting a 2nd season.
I feel like the only thing that could have saved this show and concept are the performances. And, none of the performances I have seen so far have given me anything worth wanting to watch the episode or even rewatch the performances.
By KPOPPING the songs, they did not really add anything to these songs. These are legendary songs, and the KPOP versions don't really sound better in anyway.
The artists they are working with are older, and don't really have the same fanbase demographics as a KPOP group. So, they aren't really tapping into or appealing to the right people with this.
Yeah. If they had done this with upcoming artists, put on some actually good performances, or remade the songs in some way that would make people want to listen to the new version, it could have worked.
This was a lost opportunity given the success of KPOP Demon Hunters and the fact more people who weren't interested in KPOP are actually taking the time to check it out now.

After seeing multiple performances I will say that some groups were lucky to collab with more 'modern' artists which are more known 'these days', and some didn't get as much luck.
Overall nice idea, just wish people would be placed on stage more like it was in MNet The Call, for example if there was someone who was a singer but wasn't dancing then that person was on some balcony, separate mini stage set above, or was joining later on and had mic on stand.
