Do you agree that 5th Gen Girl Groups have released the best music this year?

I certainly do. Obviously we have the top girl group this year, HUNTR/X, going up, up, up with their voices.

But we also have fantastic songs from unexpected sources

(cue the plugging of my new favs)

With NewJeans occupied in their battle against the axis of evil, HYBE and its subsidiaries, the good music void is being filled by their hoobae groups.

HUNTR/X isn't going anywhere thanks to the success of KPDH.

They'll be triggering insecure and immature girl group stans for years to come, because KPDH is about to become a massive franchise, if they can maintain the quality.

I think for me it's tough to grade because I think it's very close. If I were to make a top 25 list of songs I've enjoyed. I think 4th gen songs might have a higher count by a narrow margin.

Lastly, I feel this is the year we can sense the shift from 4th gen to 5th gen . I think it's been accelerated because of external factors

I just love that NewJeans will have a career where they were the top 4th gen group AND the top 5th gen group, because of those external factors.

I will admit that KNOW ABOUT ME deserved way, way more love from the public than it got. That song was as good as the top 5th gen entries.
