Obviously not to the level of Red Velvet but there was some talk of them being Black x Pink concepts, the Black would be the edgy/badass songs and Pink the sappy love songs. Can you tell they do dual concepts or is it all basically the same?
How well does BPink follow the dual-concept?

BP doesn't do dual concepts in the sense that you will never see them wearing lollipop outfits one comeback and looking like characters from Hellraiser the next. All their name means is that they bring an edge to the pink/femininity. I thought we all knew this already.
SNSD went from girl crush music to Lionheart the next comeback and nobody thought they were doing dual concepts. They just had a range of music that explored different tones and genres. With BP, they'll have harder hitting music like Pretty Savage to more melodic music like Lovesick Girls. Has nothing to do with dual concepts. It's just doing different types of songs.

I think they don't follow this dual concept, i don't feel it and the BP name it wasn't about their music and more about themselves, i think?
They have different types of songs obviously, but they have an image with their tt and i don't see the necessity to change just bc of a dual concept.
LG for sure were different, but I don't think they will distance themselves from the GC image. In the GC concept they can do a lot of different songs with super good beats and instruments. I just hope they explore it more.

They lean towards their "black" side much more, but I'm not sure if they were ever supposed to have a dual concept in the first place?

I feel like their dual concept is made up by fans, have they ever actually talked about having a dual concept?

Tbh i never saw them talking about it... The first time I saw something like that was when some RV fans were comparing BP name and saying how YGE copied them...
I don't remember the girls saying about their dual concept, I saw them saying about BP being literally pretty and savage. Hence the music pretty savage.

Ice Cream deserved better
Let's not talk about it the way i hated this fandom in IC era

Honestly, I think they do it pretty well. Y'all are thinking of the pink side as super cutesy bubblegum pop but for BP it just means energetic music that doesnt have the edgy "I am the best" vibes and are more focused on romance. So yeah I would consider Black songs their more self love, I am the best, all the boys fall for me, all the girls are jealous kind of songs while pink is just upbeat love songs. So if we divide their titles:
Black: Boombayah, DDU-DDU, Kill this Love, How you Like That
Pink: Playing with Fire, Stay, AIIYL, Lovesick Girls
And I would consider Whistle both concepts tbh
So honestly its pretty evenly split

Will put Whistle and Playing With Fire as Black also.
According to the girls, AIIYL is the first song closer to Pink concept.
Not at you leaving out Ice Cream

But I think she talked more about the meaning in their name than being a dual concept...
Their name is exactly the dual concept of Black and Pink. But they dont do it exclusively. They blend them
