No, because It girls usually come from wealthy families. It's easier when you have access to clothes, luxury items, makeup, and plastic surgery from a young age.

The popularity is mostly based on visuals and second hand personlity, does not really have to do with skills if you don't cound personality as a "skill".

I think it is a skill because it requires some sort of natural/developed ability to sustain such an image through various means..

I think it's a skill to maintain the image and popularity. However, it might not be a skill to get that label because it's usually based on marketing and company decisions. I guess the idol gets that position because they stood out early. However, I feel it's rare for somebody to lose it girl status in group and somebody else takes it.

Not really. Skill has to be a talent that can be taught and learnt as well. Some are more natural than others but nonetheless many can still learn it e.g singing or dancing or song writing.

IT girl is usually just a company pushed narrative especially in kpop.

The "IT" title means it is temporary based on a trend, it isn't permanent like Jennie fans try to say it is which means it can't be a skill.

A Skill is something that is developed and improved, it is permanent and exists even if you aren't popular.
