I can't seriously believe Karina was intentionally signaling the right wing with her insta post.... even if she secretly holds conservative beliefs, surely she is aware and has been told by SM to keep her political beliefs private. It's not like she is one of those Western-raised idols who love to spout off their opinions about social-political matters when the fans ask.

I think the post was genuinely a series of ill-timed coincidences which Karina was too oblivious to notice.

Imagine it from her side: you think you posted some fun photos and suddenly people call her MAGA and other bad things.

I hope she can get some time to relax and away from social media for a bit. Wouldn't blame her if she didn't post for a while.

In the same post she had her nails blue and a blue plate. Tbh, I don't even like to talk about this supposed controversy, it was clearly inflamated by people who already hated Karina.

I don’t know what you are applauding. She doesn’t owe anyone an apology.

If that’s her political stance then she’s free to express it and people are free to hate her for it.

But if it’s a misunderstanding then all the people who participated in the hate should apologize, not the other way around. After all the situation has been a big reach from the start.

Posting a series of pictures where she’s wearing a jacket that has red on it with other photos that has the opposing party color too a WEEK before the election (not even the same day, a WEEK) is not an evidence of support. It is what conspiracy theories bullies do to attack other people.

The fact that she apologized and said it was a misunderstanding before should already undo any “harm” she might’ve caused but these people all want it to be a controversy so bad that they would engage in making this harm they’re “concerned” about (the harm of someone influential like Karina supporting specific politics).

If these people were really concerned that Karina’s influence would cause harm they wouldn’t insist that she supports the red party especially after she said it was a misunderstanding. Instead of promoting it they would want it to die out.
