I want to know what is your opinion regarding this matter because even people in my neighborhood have a different opinion regarding this matter. I just one of the people that stuck in the middle of their argument
Would you want to be vaccinated?
-
-
Nope. I already got covid so. I can still get the new variants? The vaccine is old anyway
-
-
-
Yes I would like to get vaccinated to promote herd immunity
:BAS-rest:
-
-
if u got covid and you won't get vaccinated sorry but you are a SELFISH person
you still can get it again and still can have contact with other people who might don't have the luck u have
How is that making any difference?
And why waste vaccine to the people who already immune?
-

you can still spread the virus even if you are "immune" and put other people in risk
if you had already covid you can have covid again and still other people can get it too
-
definitely
I'm not trying to get covid again 😒
-

-
-
YES!
I've been vaccinated throughout my whole life (vaccines are safe and free where I live so we don't need to pay each one of them), why wouldn't I want to be vaccinated in the middle of a heckin' pandemic?
-
yes ima get it. I havent gotten it yet though.
-

thats now how it works. No one is immune they just might not have as serious conditions as others.

You can still get COVID-19 a second time and, as such, you can pass it onto other people.

So, the people who gets vaccine is immune/can't get covid for a second time/can't spread the virus?
-
I want to. My university wants to do on campus classes again next semester, so it will best if most us get vaccinated prior.

Vaccinated people can still catch the virus, but the symptoms will be much less severe. Also, by vaccinating, what you're doing is decreasing the strength of the virus. If someone else catches it from you, it will be a weakened form of the virus.
The goal of vaccination isn't to eliminate the virus completely. It's to collectively weaken the virus over time so that the disease diminishes into a common cold.
-
I thought everyone can have 1 vaccine only? I guess I'm wrong.

Ah, I see. Thank you for clearing that up

I think it's 2 times in the span of 2 weeks?
Like a vaccine set

definitely
I'm not trying to get covid again 😒
Sorry for asking this, how do you feel at the time when you positive Covid? Because I have a friend that is positive but still healthy at the same time.

this!

Almost all vaccines require 2 shots of the 1 vaccine (Pfizer, astrazeneca, moderna etc) to be at their most effective. I think Johnson and Johnson only needs 1 shot but that is much less effective than all the others so will likely be saved for healthy and young people who are much less at risk of covid symptoms. Normally they're supposed to spaced 1 month apart but due to shortages the time between is greater, for me it's almost 3 months in between shots.
-
I'm not old enough, but I would get it if I was able to. Would you rather spread a virus and have people die, or would you rather get the vaccine and reduce Covid? The vaccine might not fully work, but it still reduces the chance of catching Covid.

I feel you. Online studying is hard especially when it comes to examination

I got my second shot this past weekend. Warning: If you're inclined to get side effects from the vaccine, the second shot's side effects are worse.
-
yes to the vaccine. everyone should get vaccinated.
with that said, i think even after being vaccinated, you can still spread covid... hence the reason why everyone should be vaccinated, which is basically to prevent death.
-

You're fine
and I was bedridden for like a week lol
I also lost my sense of smell and taste
my immune system is a weak bitch
-
Got my second vaccine. Unless you have some medical condition that may make hard to be vaccinated, I think most people should get it for everyone's sake.
-
Yeah just waiting for my turn.

Now it makes sense why there are some that refuse to take it. Some might afraid because of side effects

Yes, absolutely. But i wont get it anytime soon since older people get prioritized so i have to wait. I'm afraid i couldn't get vaccine by the time my college decide to do offline learning next semester tho. I'm sick of online learning, i feel like i learn nothing these past 3 semesters

I've had the coronavirus and it felt like shit. My lungs were completely filled with fluid and I barely could breathe. It's a miracle I'm still alive because I was in the hospital, bedridden with life support there just in case. Even after recovering, I didn't regain my sense of taste and smell for another 3 months. I had no appetite because I couldn't taste food and I lost tons of weight. For my lungs, the coronavirus weakened them and I now have asthma which I fear may be getting worse. It's insane how messed up my health got because of the virus.
My point is, the coronavirus is no joke. It does damage to your body and that damage can be lifelong. If we vaccinate people, the virus can appear in minor forms sort of like the common cold. That way, nobody has to go through what I did. Personally, I wouldn't vaccinate myself since my immune system has been through so much that I think it can fight the virus better if it comes back. But for other people, they have to do it. It's the only way we can protect others the most effectively.
Wear your mask, stay 6 feet apart, wash your hands properly, and vaccinate yourself.

Yeah. I think I'm less productive with remote learning sometimes. Let's keep fighting!
-
Yes, absolutely. I'm not about to pull a Typhoid Mary out of ignorance. Just waiting for my turn. My parents already got theirs.
-
-
ofc! I wouldn't want to cause harm or risk spreading the virus to anyone else by not getting the vaccine. it's not like it takes much effort to go get it, and it helps, so why wouldn't you?
-
I already got both shots (pfizer's )
