From just looking at the thread title I thought 'Somi and the dungeon' was her next comeback name

To answer your question, I think that depends, she might leave or could negotiate better terms or just stay if she doesn't mind not releasing as much.

I just hope she doesn't go to P-Nation or More Vision because that would mean her career is done.

I don't know much about the company but ASND seems to be making big moves by signing Fromis 5 and Wendy. Maybe they're backed by somebody rich because Fromis recent comeback didn't seem that cheap

More Vision isn't that bad, they're doing a pretty good job with Chungha. I just don't like Jay Park.😂

They did good job with her comeback. I think the issue is Somi is too big for More Vision imo.

I don't think Somi is that big anymore. Chungha is also very popular in SK.

BTW, which Wendy are you talking about because RV's Wendy already signed with ASND.

unless she already has made a deal to switch to another company with the resources to do a better job than TBL (what company could that be?), I think she will just stay where she is.

Even though she is in "the dungeon," her current situation isn't that bad. She's rich, young, hot, gets to live in the celebrity world, and once-in-a-while she can work on music that she seems to genuinely enjoy.

If she leaves she'll flop more, at this point

Honestly doubt she'll leave TBL. I don't think she is into being an idol anymore. Shes busy with ad deals and her makeup brand. Girl dropped 12 songs in 5 years. Yeah she has writing and composing credits on nearly all of them, but if music was still your main passion, would the output be that low?

She is doing a fanmeeting later this year, so we'll see how that goes.

At this point, TBL is unfortunately her best option. I doubt any of the big labels will sign her and signing to a small label is not likely gonna do her career any good.

No way she signed a 7 year contract. Solo contracts are usually much shorter. I would say 4 years max, so Somi has already resigned at least once.

There is usually no need for a long contract to recoup trainee expenses with soloist, as was the case with Somi. Somi was also already famous, and contracts with established idols are usually shorter.
