Now that KISS OF LIFE's controversy happened, would you still put them above BABYMONSTER in terms of 5th gen leading ggs?

I think baemon was always so much more stronger than them on the streaming sites (but some one correct me if I was wrong) And also fandom support.
Plus newer GG‘s will esp big4 GG will always eventually get a Korean Hit.
I think it was just wishful thinking where people were downplaying YG and baemon lol but they always had more of a shot than any smaller agency group.

Baemon was always ahead of them.
I think Kiss of Life ceiling lowered, but they should be okay. I think touring in the North America might be a bit tougher, but I think kpop fans would move on by then.
I think they're still currently a top 5 5th gen group. I just don't think they'll be ahead of Illit, Baemon, Hearts2Hearts, and whatever other groups Hybe debuts. I think a group like Meovv will surpass them. By this time next year they will most likely be outside of the top 5, but still successful.

BM performed in much bigger venues for their world tour when compared to KIOF.

I dont engage in numbers wanking. The ONLY stat that matters in kpop is personal preference.

I will put any girlgroup above Kiss of Life.

I still have a hard time accepting we're in 5th gen so I don't know

Not really. BaeMon have a huge fandom, much bigger than KIOF's that's why they debut high on Spotify, sometimes making it to Spotify Global on day1.
But KIOF songs always go viral and end up reaching 1M too. There's never a big difference in their title track streams except for Midas Touch and Sheesh.

BM has fandom support so it is only a matter of time until they surpass KIOF but they are not really ahead in a clearcut way yet, imo.

No. KIOF have turned off a lot of ppl with the controversy and now this choreo which Knetz HATE. Honestly speaking I have no idea how this comeback is going to do but I am hoping for the best. Top 20 on Melon at least

P.S. no matter who is ahead, both of these groups will be top 3 for 5th gen GGs, that much I know

Being a TOP group has nothing to do with controversies.
Put aside their problematic behaviors, BOTH GROUPS, btw, let's not forget that BM had similar issues, and let's focus only on the stats.
Who has better discography doesn't matter, it's just a personal taste. Stat wise, I'm pretty sure KIOF charted with more songs and higher, and BM are not much better in the West. They're only massive on Youtube.
Talent wise, they're equal overall, especially if we only include the 4 strongest member of BM.
