BP members were like 19 to 21 when they debuted. I really thought YG would stick to that for this new girl group and debut all adults. Almost every new girl group these days (except Kiof) is made up of middle schoolers. Even the big 4 seem allergic to debuting all-adult girl groups, like why? The market has shifted toward women, and women love grown women. A group like that would get a huge welcome from fans if any big company actually did it today. But nah, it just getting worse

Before I say anything, I have to say this: I'm only criticizing YGE and Sugar Daddy Yang, not the girl(s)!!!

The fact that she's only 15 years old is enough for me to skip them instantly! Girl is younger than Chiquita.

IF they won't debut in the next 2 years, maybe I'll change my mind, but honestly, I don't get why they chose this crap song to showcase her talent. One of the worst rap song ever, probably.

Not sure, if it's the song or her, but she's not a talented rapper. Her flow is bad, and her performance felt forced. To be honest, I had the same feeling with Blackpink as well. Every time they had a rap performance, it was over the top swag with bad flow and performance.

If Yang says she's an all-rounder (vocal, rap, and dance! Only 2 is included, so she's not an all-rounder) they should've shown her vocal skills instead.

But now, we know he's gonna debut a girl group with the same age range as Babymon, so they're an actual competition for them. At least on paper.

It's always tough to buy 15 year olds rapping like that. I think this is way too soon and could've waited 2-3 years to debut them. The focus should be mainly on babymonster because it still feels they haven't hit their stride.

I listened to the original with Doechii and the original rap has clear diction.

Interesting, kind of wish it was a vocal display instead of rap...and don't exactly love the choice of rap either.

Anyways, I wish them luck, but these trainees keep getting younger and I keep getting older.

A couple of days ago, one of my friends recommended me a group, I don't remember the name, but they already debuted and the youngest is 13 YEARS OLD!

Agencies always debuted underage kids, but these days, I feel, they debut more every day. Miss Banana girl were like 14 or something when Babymon debuted?

There’s some diction issues in that video. Not to take a jab at the idol but there’s more to rap than reciting lyrics . She’s still training so can’t be too harsh but the line delivery isn’t fully there in the clip. She does have some confidence, but it would’ve been wiser to showcase other skills. I think they should’ve given her some other material to showcase .

I think it’s a mistake to give her a Doechii song because she heavily relies on performance in having different flows, cadence, and delivery. I know Doechii is popular but they should’ve given her something easier to cover.

One thing I don’t understand about rap showcases is why don’t they have the idol perform an original song to showcase skills. I think it’s more interesting to do that than to dover a rap song .

yea she was a few months shy of 15. Even baemon I was hesitant to stan, but at least they have a decent age spread I guess, with Ruka being 22. I'm not sure if any of the members of this group will be older, but I would not be shocked if they are all children...

Guess my days of stanning new girlgroups is over.

My biggest problem is that now it's obvious this group won't be mature like MMM, so both BM and these girls will have the same audience, and that can cause problems, because these days, kids always say, if you stan more than 1 group, you're a fake fan. For them, multis are like a cheating husband or wife.🤣

I always thought, the next "big" fandom war is going to be BM vs ILLIT, but now it can be BM vs YGNGG. Nothing is better than in-house fandom wars.

I think there’s major overlap between the two. Didn’t BaeMon have similar training introduction videos ? Hopefully this pushes BaeMon away from swag rap. Unsure if others are similar to me but I found their best songs are their b-sides that showcases their vocals. Would be nice if they shifted more towards r&b and let this group have that because I think BaeMon is much more than a group with a heavy hip hop focus

Next Monster feels very counterintuitive. Like, they are legitimately trying to set up direct competition between them in Baemon. It's weird.

Yea I want to be graceful about this, unlike some blinks are towards baemon, but it's just a really odd decision to debut this group so soon, while baemon is still building up their fb and forming an identity. Also I don't think this group will be able to benefit as much from blinks becoming fans as much as baemon has been able to, but we'll see. Seeing how baemon stans war with other 5th gen groups on twitter, I feel bad for the fans of this new group lol.

Teddy debuted exact copy of BP and it still didn't work. YG needs to step up the game and give us something new. These 2016 formulas aren't gonna work in 2025.
