and saying how she probably got the job thanks to the connexion of her boyfriend
but the White lotus creator just shut everybody mouth
Lisa worked hard and gave her everything to get the job
she wasn't the only one to audition, they already audition tons of actresses in Thailand, she was just the best one !!!
She's been very good, but I wsh her character was featured more. What I love about her performance is people outside of kpop are enjoying her character. We aren't seeing comments about only getting role due to being a celebrity and people are viewing her as an actress.
I am curious what roles she will take on next because I think this role will open doors for her.
The fact that basically all the cast, directors, people actually INVOLVED in the series always make sure to say how some of them didn't even know who Lisa is, but she did such a great job at the audition that she was the chosen one already speaks volume about her work ethic.
I know what Lisa is doing was impossible for k idols, but it's not anymore and she is getting all of this thanks to her hard work!

Watched all 3 seasons and my my my Lisa is a amazing actress... Always knew she was going to be good because she is so animated and expressive but the fact that her expressions were subtle, mature and nuanced was such a suprise... plus my girl is gorgeous as fuck...
Another big plus is she played a Thai character so she didn't feel out of place at all... Thai fans also appreciated her for her pronunciation because it wasn't the regular city accent...
Season 1 and 2 had the plot spread out and in Season 3, it seems everything is going to revealed in final episode so we need to wait and see how important Lisa's character is going to be... knowing other seasons gave importance to all cast members, we need to see what's about to happen.
Hoping for more acting projects for Lisa... she really has a bright future in acting

That can be said about every single actress/ actor out there... its not that there wasn't any better, it's that Lisa showed interest to be a part of it. Mike initially didn't want a huge kpop star to be a part of the show because they didnt want that kind of attention to the show as the show was already hugely popular. And they also didn't want to have to hire additional security but when she auditioned he felt she was good for this role, which Lisa has already proved to be...

If I can be honest and blunt, there likely was not an other actually Thai actress in auditions. They usually just grab and accept auditions from anyone Asian at those things, not actually focusing on getting an ethnicity accurate actress.
However for someone with no acting training, she did very well despite the lack of training.
