It's a really nice song, but Hot is more catchy and different from their previous tts so I liked it. And having a bside going viral is also great, in the end they have multiple songs that can go viral.

I wish the lyrics wasn't so repetitive for Ash or I wish the song was longer.

Overall, I think Ash is a better TT. It has an ethereal vibe and the instrumentals are gorgeous and tragic.

Ash goes into my writing Playlist (especially the instrumental). So Cynical goes into my perma Playlist.

Hot is mid for me.

HOT is a lot more cacthy than Ash. Source took the best commercial choice by setting HOT as the title track. Ash is one of my favorites, but definetly not title material. I believe Come Over even comes above Ash when it comes to possible tt debate.

Ash feels like 2000-2010s songs from Europe, and is much better compared to Hot(which doesn’t even give hot vibes???). But Ash is too repetitive. There is no bridge there either. I guess SoMu got the demo and didn’t even bother to tweak the song and just recorded Lsfm’s vocals and called it a day. Cuz even tho Ash is a good song it is half baked.

For example I heard the demo version of Flowers by Aespa, and it was shorter and different from the Flowers that Aespa fans know. SM added a bridge to the song, changed and added some bass and instruments, added a lot of adlibs, removed the 2nd pre chorus of the song and added different things.

Ash is very plain. Hot is catchy.
