Does it mean girls that grew up in Asia but seem western or girls that actually grew up in the west
because Giselle was born and raised in Japan but Wendy RV was raised in Canada and Yunjin Lsfm is American born and raised (nationality)

wait, i was wrong.
yes, its not a stereotype. its an aesthetic that embodies breaking free of the usual asian stetreotypes.
so yeah, like Jessi. you can read more about it here -> Asian Baby Girl | Aesthetics Wiki | Fandom

i think she would
they both would, actually. mostly Lisa, though

I disagree
I agree with both too
they both don’t really fit the Asian girl aesthetic imo and always came across more western considering they never actually lived in the west (I don’t think)

her idol persona or personal life? in her predebut she seems to have a tomboyish style. and at the present she's going to fancy places with her white boyfriend in her free time

It's not jsut that they grew up in the West, it's that a lot of their lifestyle and attitude is influenced by the clash of cultures of growing up in what might be a traditional Asian family household (although depending on generation, a few steps removed as well) but heavily exposed in day to day life to Western cultural norms as well.
So they still do "Asian" cultural things such Lunar New Year, love hot pot and boba tea (big part of the ABG stereotype) etc, but also show in an interest in Western things that would be considered edgy or unacceptable in a more traditional Asian culture. Tattoos, piercings, hair dye, clothes that would be considered shocking, extreme partying (rave culture for example) and "urban" scenes such as street cars and clubbing. Theres also a stereotype that an ABG might be more brash, confident and sometimes even fighty than the perceived stereotype of Asian woman. Not scared to get into someones face and be confrontational.
Family from "back home" visiting an ABG might be shocked by their look and behaviour, while an ABG travelling back to their country of origin (keeping in mind and ABG might be 2nd or 3rd gen in the country they grew up in) would experience culture shock by how conservative it is. The movie Joy Ride kind of shows that experience.
So... kpop idols that are abg's? Some might reflect the aesthetic, but the mindset and personality?
I would dare say the closest currently is actually Julie from KioF, who did grow up in Hawaii till she was 13.EDIT TO ADD: Just read a funny enough line. It's basically if you overlay "basic white girl" stuff onto a Western raised Asian woman. and blend everything together.

Tbh if we are strictly talking predebut then I don’t know enough to say but just based on how they come across in kpop/presently
I wouldn’t say it’s just because they’re tomboys either i think Ryujin Itzy is tomboyish but she doesn’t come across westernized imo

yeah
The goal of an ABG ig is to defy the stereotypical asian norms, yk? Kinda like how most westerners expect asian kids to be really smart and nerdy, an ABG is focuses on individuality, feminity, freedom and experimentation.

Being a tomboy definitely ISN'T ABG, as ABG has a degree of hyper-femininity and being a "princess" to it. Like I said, they might be more brash, confident and outspoken, and they might be a lot more comfortable hanging out with "the boys", but there isn't a focus on tomboyish traits.
No kpop idol that has grown up exclusively in an Asian country under those cultural norms could really be considered ABG. They might take on some aesthetics of it, because in some ways it is a trendy fashion, but without that mixing of two worlds thing, the clash of cultures and a way to place ones self in the two...
