AKP Blinks, what do you consider BLACKPINK's biggest hit song and why?

Instinctively, and without looking at charts, I'll say Boombayah because it felt like it was an impactful song that woke everyone's asses up and forced them to take notice of BP the very first time.
I guess.

"DDU-DU DDU-DU"
It might not be their biggest in terms of numbers or international popularity, but that song singlehandedly was their turning point. It also changed the industry. It consolidated the girl crush era of K-pop.
A lot of people have recency bias, so they won't acknowledge 2018's impact for BLACKPINK and all of K-pop. I think there needs to be a case study or a documentary on that year.
"DDU-DU DDU-DU" got so many people into K-pop. I know some of our fellow AKP users can vouch for that.

They haven't had it yet.

An unpredictable choice right from the start. I didn't expect BBY to be picked, especially since it released alongside Whistle, but I'll always give flowers to the song that introduced the OTP--Rose and the floor.

I'm refraining from commenting, as I just want to play the role of observer.

Too many to count.
Their b-side is for me their biggest hit.

D4 is the greatest thing to ever grace the world of kpop. I truly believe kpop wouldn't be what it is today without that song

As a non-blink and someone who barely knows their discography, I'd say D4 and it's not even close. Everyone knows D4
Thank you.
I don't care if hylt has the numbers, it's D4
Thank you.

"How You Like That" has the numbers. However, if it weren't for "DDU-DU DDU-DU," BLACKPINK wouldn't have the popularity or the fandom to achieve their "How You Like That" success.
It's kinda like how BTS wouldn't have had their "FAKE LOVE" success without their "DNA" phenomenon. "DNA" brought them a ton of new fans that they otherwise wouldn't have had.

I don't know in Korea, but worldwide statistics show it is HYLT
-
hylt or d4

I'm not a blink but I'd say anyone that was there during all their releases know it was DDDD.
In Korea it was their biggest hit without any doubt, only AIIYL can match its numbers because it's having amazing longevity and it rises during summer, but DDDD's impact was way bigger. Actually the first month run in the charts might have been one of the most impressive if not the most impressive for any song EVER in Korea, the numbers it was pulling out were insane.
Internationally it might not have the numbers of KTL or HYLT in Spotify or other international charts but it was also released in a completely different moment. When DDDD was released all these charts we look nowadays were basically just a dream for Kpop acts, DDDD was the main turning point for BP's career but also a important step ahead for Kpop as a whole.
