I think Chaeyoung will be the next Twice member to have a solo

I guessed it before with Tzuyu (I thought it would either be her or Jeongyeon), so I wanted to share my thoughts, so I could later see if I was right Maybe I'm looking into this too much, but I do believe they're dropping hints in this comeback for it.

JYP likes to tease Twice's solo debuts in their MVs. Nayeon's solo debut was teased in Scientist, Misamo in Moonlight Sunrise, Jihyo in Hare Hare. Then I think both Misamo and Tzuyu were teased in One Spark. I'm not sure about Nayeon's 2nd mini, maybe I didn't notice anything or it wasn't planned so early.

Now, after watching Strategy, I think Chaeyoung's solo is being teased there!

She not only has a lot of spotlight in the MV (definitely more than in the previous comebacks) but also her symbol, strawberry is kind of present in the comeback and she's in the middle of a few teaser pcs. and my intuition tells me it might be teasing.

So she has a lot of screentime in Strategy but also people have been posting this - all the targets have knives either in the middle or on nine, but one has it on 8 and Chaeyoung is the 8th member in the group.

She starts the song and also, at the end, there's this magazine shown and Chaeyoung is the last Twice member to be shown there. And on her page there's this sentence "Chaeyoung shines on her own". Other members have some normal text, mostly about love.

Here, she's in the middle of some promo photos and she's either separated a little from the rest, or in between Tzuyu and Nayeon (who had solos this year):

Before Tzuyu's solo debut, she did a lot of activites and tiktoks with Jihyo, as if Jihyo was passing the "torch" to her. Now Tzuyu is holding a strawberry, as if she was passing it to Chaeyoung (strawberry in the fandom is generally connected to Chae, who has a nickname strawberry princess and loves strawberries):

Definitely, I imagine she might take part in creating her album design! It would be fun to see what she comes up with, she has quite a unique style of drawing.

I agree with you, that was also what makes me think it might be her. I saw a screenshot of Jeongyeon's message where she says she's not ready for a solo yet. And Dahyun obviously went with the acting route, at least for now.

It could be something else, like Jihyo's comeback, but I feel like it will be Chaeyoung's turn now. Still, Jihyo mentioned a second solo album on her bubble recently, so we might get it too in the future.

I agree, I'm also curious to see what will her solo album be like. She wrote a solo song for their last tour and it had a indie pop/rock sound. So I wonder if her solo would go in this direction or maybe more mainstream music.

I'm not sure about all your clues, I feel like some of them are not it (like the target number since there are several and also, the strawberry) but systematically placing her in group center could be one as they have done similar in the past !!

I know, I actually think it might have been planned for this year already but was postponed.

And yeah, maybe I got carried away looking for clues, but it's definitely true that she's more in the center.
