Why were they given only 32 songs in the 8 years that they have been a group while their male counterparts have about 78 songs having debuted 5 years ago.

Imagine finding out about your own group's disbandment through the news? Well that's how 2NE1 felt.
YG failing miserably to protect Bom from the controversy surrounding her about literally just bringing medication to treat her ADD.
Not to mention that 2NE1 was basically consigned to the bench once BP was in the making (i dont mean this literally)
Who's to say they won't do this with BP or any of their other ggs too?

YGE failed BP music career miserable, but they should've debuted in YGE yes and thank God they did.
Whatever happened with 2ne1 has nothing to do with them.
And thankfully blinks are real people that spends money on BP solo career so it was amazing for YGE to be on the receiving end this time around with their own gg choosing to become soloists under different labels while they wait for them to cb as BP.

People love to run with this "pretty version of 2NE1" narrative without doing any fact checking. It's as if they themselves want to believe this because they think 2NE1 is the "not pretty version of BLACKPINK."
I think things happened the way they should have. If you went back and changed one thing about the past, the present and future just wouldn't look the same. That's the butterfly effect and the way of the universe.

Even if it’s true, why should it matter if the girls are a 'pretty version' of another group? They’re incredibly successful, so whatever strategy Yg used when creating them clearly worked. And if your point is about misogyny, which Kpop company is free from that? Kpop is run by trashy old men, after all.
I believe even Bp’s members are glad they debuted under Yg. Sure, it’s frustrating to have a smaller discography, but now they have more freedom than most of their peers, which is a huge win.
