BTS without any member will have a hard time because BigHit have branded the group strongly as OT7.

If a member leaves, I just don't see them continuing as a group as they mentioned in the past.

Like said above I don't think the members would like to continue the group if not 7. And hypothetically if V and/or Jungkook decide to leave BTS and Hybe then this would turn the fandom upsidedown, fights every day and yeah, BTS would survive, but I don't think they would be successful like they are as 7.

So for the hypothetical case of BTS losing any members while the rest continue to perform as BTS.

Loss of Jungkook and V, would indeed be the most damaging, than the loss of others.

But I don't see BTS being much active as a group after their return, they will do occasional reunions, but otherwise follow their own solo paths.

So don't think it is going to matter much.

Most certainly for some time since their fan are real fanatics that just want their dulululand of having their group at the top for as long as possible. That's what they've been investing their lives into up until now so they'll fight over that fantasy.
