It have always been crazy and strange stuff going on, nothing really new. The Hybe/Ador business is a bit extra, but still only one issue.

If you mean the quality of kpop when it comes to the groups and the music.... well, people will have different opinions about that.

The Kpop industry has always been problematic, but the recent drama has more to do with it being exposed on a more regular basis versus the number of eyes on it. Kpop could have been just as popular a decade ago, but you didn't have nearly the amount of (Korean) stories coming out about behind-the-scenes fuckery. We were more blissfully ignorant back then. Now you log in to a Kpop news site and it's like reading up on the latest episode of a professional wrestling show.

I continue to lose interest, but for me it’s the quality of music. I don’t Stan anyone and I don’t care about content or company drama so without great music there’s very little to offer. I have too many other hobbies and interests so it’s easy to just move to something else. Although I’m here right now so I guess I haven’t moved on completely. 😂
