Not sure how I feel about this. I don't like groups with more than 5 or 6 members, also, Aespa is pretty much the main focus now, and SME hardly doing a good job. I think, it's too early for another girl group. Not to mention a 9 member group, because most people will say they're the next GG.

They need to debut the group before any other +7 member group take over that spot from Twice. It's the perfect time to debut the group at the end of this year with NJ having lost some steam, Twice is not the force they was and the new groups are not that strong.

NJ has a different audience. However, it's unproven that newgg will be OT9. Usually, some trainess cut off before group's debut. I assume it may be OT6 or OT7 which is more profitable format

I would not call it "different audience", it's more or less that same audience, young people that likes kpop, even if the concepts are different. If they want to stand out they need to have at least 7 or more members, or they just risk being one among all other 4-6 member groups.

Omg so the rumors were true about their next GG being their biggest since SNSD! (In terms of number of members).

I really hope they all end up debuting or somewhere between 7-9 members. There is a HUGE gap in the market right now for a new large numbered GG especially from a big 4 company. This would really make them stand out imo I hope SM goes for it

So after all these years of rumours there actually is a SNSD 2.0 from SM.
