There is practicality raising a Family at home by the Mother. Small Children until they become school age. Afterwards being fried up to resume career.

idk taking care of Husband, shouldn't be a necessity. The mother would still have the lion's share of taking care of the kids. Impressive double duty lot in life. Although the kids start contributing to home life. It works

I think you and those women are different types of people nothing more than that.

Building a career and managing your home(family) are both equally important roles.

Some people can easily multitask at it but when multitasking they require equal support from other party ie their partner who would also be a working professional.

Others who want to stay home don't want to live in the corporate world for 8hr and then manage their home, usually those ladies are more into creativity and hobbies and a bit slow paced life hence they prefer to give attention to their homemaker careers which sometimes gives them enough time to fulfill their hobbies.

Both are different choices for different type of people. Btw some men also want to stay at home in hetrosexual relationships and they have almost similar thought process.

Individually, I think it is every women's choice.

But collectively this trend should worry the wise.

Drastic drop in birth rates, is already alarming in countries like S.korea.

Without children, cultures will die and will be replaced with other cultures who don't give a shit about women's freedom or choice.

So individual freedom at the cost to the future of one's culture, society, nation

Like individual convenience at the cost to environment affecting the future.
