I forgot to save the tweet, and since it was in Korean, I couldn’t find it again. But from what I remember, it sounded like the members might have to give up their whole careers as NewJeans and start over from scratch if they want to left Hybe. I mean, it’s such a huge decision since there’s no guarantee they could come back with another successful career like NewJeans, especially with the group name already having such great commercial success. So, even though it's true, it's still hard to think that the girls will give up all of that just to get out of Hybe except they're really desperate and they see no other way out anymore. Yet, with how the NewJeans girls have been acting about after Mhj get fired, idk anymore. They’re not even hiding how uncomfortable they are with the new management anymore.
Honestly, I’d actually feel a huge sense of relief if they left, even if they didn’t reach the same level of success outside of HYBE. I’d rather see them as a B-tier group in a place where they’re comfortable and with people they can trust their life and careers with. And even if they have to start over with a new name, I will keep supporting them. It won’t be easy, but it’s better for their mental health seeing how stressful this whole shitshow and how it affected them. I’d love to see them cut ties with MHJ too and start fresh somewhere else, but judging by the girls reactions, it seems like if they leave HYBE, they might just follow her wherever she ends up.
