I emphasize with her. Having a parent addicted to gambling and nefarious habits is really difficult and I know since that last incident she has had an understandably strain relationship with her mother.

I would be surprised if no one will blame Sohee for this, too. I mean, they did the same when something like this happened with Wheein and his so called "father" who stole a LOT of money from people, and they blamed her.

I don't get why people in Korea think if someone is guilty in a family, it's everyone's fault as well. Even if they don't live together for ages.

It's not just Korea

It's in every Asian culture, like the whole continent, that children are responsible for settling their parents dues. Like they inherit the sins of their fathers, literally.

When it comes to scammy parents, it really depends. If the celeb still defends or associated with their family, they get demonized. If they've been estranged, people are more sympathetic and HSH was raised by her grandmother. Tiffany got the same sympathy as well despite how bad her image was in Korea

Wheein didn't see her "dad" since she was very young. So, I think it's different with everyone. To be fair, if I remember correctly, with Wheein, the K-Media wasn't a big help either, to say the least.

Anyway, if they won't attack her, the rest doesn't matter, she has enough problems already.

I wanted to say this, but I wasn't sure, so I only mentioned Korea.

Anyway, I'm never gonna understand this attitude. To be honest, I've seen things like this, even in America, when people attacked the family of a killer.
