WayV get critized by Knetz for singing Chinese on Korean music shows

i'm not saying it's right, but i think it's pretty obvious why they're reacting differently in regards to both languages

It is not because of foreign language.

It is because the relation between Korea and China right now is very bad and anything about China right now will make

k-netz mad.

If they shit on Chinese, than I wonder why compared to this Japanese songs are allowed and sometimes even very liked. I mean if you count the JPop-artists who performed on an Korean show in the past 20 years ...

Knetz are sensitive about anything related China lately so its no surprise that WayV is getting dragged as well

Rose has been getting flack for singing in English and not Korean from knetz as well. I have heard people saying they can't get emotionally invested in music they can't understand (which is bull). Though, China and Korea have their own tensions so that could be fueling something more I suppose.

Exactly...I've seen knetz talk a lot of bad stuff about cnetz and China as a whole. I remember when JYPE announced their collaboration with a Chinese company (?) and they were called traitors and asked as even a Korean company anymore...

Well, China tried to claim kimchi, hanbok as their own and its netizens even attacked BtS for saying nothing wrong just because.

Banned Kpop in China to boot, so... 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️

Also, I wonder what will happen to "China is the future" since Koreans are reacting strongly against China.

you do realise that the boys will probably face even more backlash from Chinese fans if they decide to change it up and go full korean when the original song is in Chinese
