As much as I dislike Baemon and any YG GG after 2ne1, having 4 members would just make it more obvious they are a copy of a copy, and YG is dumb but not that dumb. And yes, SHEESH is a horrible song. Obviously Teddy basically leaving YG fucked over whatever was left of it.

The main issue with YG GGs is that they can't let go of the girl crush concept. Also these girls are all high schoolers trying to act badass which makes it seem forced against the more refreshing and popular concepts nowadays. 2ne1 did amazing with girlcrush, but it seriously died out after BP did HYLT, which I believe imo is the last good girl crush concept song.

Kpop girl crush with current world trends and events not going to be that popular.

Next trend lofi? it be in that direction.

BM Like That would fair better more globally, and it's also in English.

YG should've made them an RnB pop group, still girl crush, but musically different from BP. It's a shame since the girls do have the skills for it.

I don't think it's really about the style, it's more like the shit lyrics that YG gives them. It's cringe as hell and this in your face rapping is not "cool" or trendy anymore. I mean, this is their 3rd group with the same style of songs, and lyrics. Of course, most people are bored, especially if they're older Kpop fans, like me.

The funny thing is that Young Posse's style for example is not new or anything like that, it's actually copying the 90s, early 2000s style of wester Hip Hop, but it's still feeling fresh and authentic, because it's not forced and fun.

Babymonster at a company like S2, CUBE or RBW could be similar than Mamamoo. There, I said it. Not as talented vocally, of course, but with great producers and freedom they would thrive. At YG, they're in the dungeon.

Pharita and Rami are the obvious unnecessary members, they don't have the visuals, maybe the talent but so do the others.

5 members I think would've been spot on.

The clear attention grabbers are Ahyeon, Ruka [I thought she was the filler pre-debut], and Chiquita.

Rora and the other one are great back row members, they do their job well.

Oh well, not every group can be an ace of aces like BP, but BM are still new, they are yet to get a hit [domestically and internationally] we can judge fairly after that, for now it is all fair game.

They should go the r&b route, it would suit them better than the girl crush concept they're trying do do rn
