Her personality is weird... She seems to be really full of herself

    2. [+129, -1]

Why would she say that mid-filming? I can understand what she meant but she should've told her personally after the filming.. so hurtful

    3. [+125, -2]

She's always been rude... She's acting this way towards Um Junghwa and Kim Wansun as well... it's because Lee Hyori has a cult following worshiping her like a god that it's all been buried..

    4. [+118, -1]

I f*cking hate people who act all pleasant while saying something hurtful to others like it's no big dealㅋ

    5. [+110, 0]

I wonder what's the reason for her to say such things in this fashionㅋㅋㅋ

  • Has she not always been kinda rude? I have read comments of older gen kpop stans saying she was like that even when she was in finkl

  • She's just being honest? If the host didnt call her directly she wouldnt come because she wouldnt feel the need to say yes. If anything it shows she have a hard time saying no to others, not that she's rude. I do understand that implying that the host was wrong for calling her directly is rude, but I doubt that that was the impression she was trying to give. She could have just said it was no problem.

narcissistic, my god i love it

yes, people get mad for like a week and then forget about it until the next time she's brutally honest...rinse and repeat.

How is this any different than telling her no?

  • ... goddamn.

Asssuming this translation is accurate... She is being honest. She's also being incredibly rude. The host is thanking her for appearing on her show, and instead of showing common courtesy, she responds by essentially telling her she lacked the courage to say no at the time but now wishes she had. She wishes the host had contacted her company instead so she could simply duck out of the appearance without ever having to talk to her. How is that NOT one of the rudest, most ungrateful things she could possibly respond with? It's like she lacks the basic social skills needed to figure out this isn't the proper time for brutal honesty. She's honestly lucky anyone is still interested in her, which just makes it even worse.

  • I mean... it's Lee Hyori, she's always sort of been like this. I remember once she said that she had to tone down her celebrity disease because she wasn't getting as much attention or something of sorts, so I've always just assumed that's the real her.
