Why is a Twice stan making a thread on what IVE should do? Just curious.

I hate this new era of sampling, like where is the creativity?? IVE already used samples for After Like and honestly I wish they'd just stop.

I don't mind sampling. It can work if you can somehow make it with your own colors. Look at pinkpantheress. She used to always do samples in her earlier work and it worked! because she was able to make it hers.

I've got no problem sampling or remaking previous songs, since most new music is utter trash. Do i really need to upload Jack Harblow again, or some of these Kpop jingles that everyone is enamored with, to prove this point?

Afterlike was 10x better than I Will Survive. Their Pepsi song was a bonafide SOTY contender as well and it sampled Coldplay's epic song and did a damn good job with it.

lol i am exaggerating obviously, IWS is a classic and i liked it, but Afterlike took that sample and made a song that is 100x catchier. Their vocals were SO CATCHY in the verses esp Leeseo, the rap was so effing smooth and the highlight of the song, and then the outro with the fireworks. Just a really well conceived pop song.
