TWICE Announce 2 upcoming concert dates in Nissan Stadium and 2 in Yanmar for Summer 2024

  • One thing, just because the stadium could it 50K people, it does not mean that 50K tickets will be available.

Depending on stage set up, they could sell 30K or so.

Other girl groups have had attendance at 70k.

    TWICE will match those.

  • Isnt it likely Twice will have nearly 2 million concert attendance with these dates?

    Closer to 1.5 IMO

They are already at 596k, the new + recent Japan dates should add another 400k max. That leaves around 500k from 13 concerts (unless they announce more) which seems doable

Many of their past events have not been announced and are not included in the 600K number.

But who knows if or when we will know the full numbers.

Im sure JYP will add more lmfao.

These 4 dates is not 400k though? More like 250k max?

Nissan Stadium is 75k. So it will be higher than 50k for certain. Closer to 120k for both dates.

Like look at Yanmar, it's official capacity on it's wiki is 47,816 but Twice played that in May and both shows had restricted seating opened up and ended up being 51+k per days for 102,239 total.

Same for Ajinomoto Stadium they sold out last year. It has a capacity of 49,970. Twice sold 108, 131 tickets for the two days.

So if they wanted to push it the demand is there for restricted seating. The official seating for Nissan Yokohama is 72, 327. That's just seats. In Japan with their last concerts Twice pushed sections very very close to the stage and actually exceeded the capacity of both stadiums, it's entirely possible they could do that with Nissan too.

8 actually, they just did 2 dates at the Paypal dome (40k) and 2 at the Vantelin dome (50k) and from the stream they looked sold out. Yanmar's max is 50k and Nissan's max is 72k but I put the Nissan dates down as 60k for both days to allow for 20k leeway across all 8 uncounted.

  • This is amazing for them.

  • Views from the edge

  • Everyone knows that ? Plus Nissan capacity is 70k btw not 50k.

and you can also release more tickets for a concert than a sport event.

No you can't. Stadiums are designed for sporting events. Conventional concerts like this (ie not 360) require you to cover up a large portion of the seating with the stage.

Not necessarily. Abel welcomed 80k fans at London stadium despite the max capacity being 66,000 seated places for sports.

Depending of the demand some artists open more standing or seated tickets.

It doesn’t have to be a 360 concert.

    Very impressive!

Not 100% true as that is typically the rule of thumb for sporting arenas as indoors sports like hockey and basketball typically have smaller pitches/fields.

Twice had higher capacity in Ajinimoto stadium and Yanmar than their official seating.

Stadiums for outdoor sports have the same problem. Unless the stadium in question has a very unusual shape, you're not replacing the lost capacity from unusable seats with field seating.

No, but you have a far larger standing area than in say a basketball court and a wider spread of the seats meaning you can limit the number of seats lost.

Again tho, this isn't opinion, go and look up the number I provided in one of my post here. Twice already exceeded the seating capacity of Ajinimoto and Yanmar lol.
