They have members from Japan & Thailand. They will obviously get massive streams as those countries heavily use youtube. Also, being junior to BP definifely helped

All you had to do was wait until YouTube updated their weekly charts. 98% of kpop acts/groups are using ads this year and YouTube reveals that in the end.

Do people really care about MV views by this point? Feels so tired out and bragging about hitting a certain number in 24 hrs or whatever. Thank god it got essentially ban on kpop reddit because people would spam their groups hitting certain MV numbers every few hours.

There is no secret formula, Babymonster is the first Yg group since Blackpink so there was a lot of anticipation

Did they use ads? It doesn't matter anyways, promoting new groups using ads is s good thing.

Also, they have a lot of SEA fans and youtube there is the most popular music streaming platform. There's nothing unusual or surprising about their numbers
