I think fromis are profitable as they do festivals. Even if they are not profitable seventeen could easily cover any losses. They are selling double the number of albums that gfriend were selling.
Gfriend wasn't profitable in its last couple of years, mainly because of covid. There are receipts. I suspect because they got no payouts for several years, some members decided to not renew and then sourcemusic pulled the plug.

Whatever bad juju was cursing Hybe could only be cleansed by the former Izone members. I mean, the curse did try to destroy LSRFM just like it did GLAM via the Garam scandal but the karma of Ssamkura was too strong for even the nastiest of curses. Ssamkura literally paved the way for LSRFM survival and then NJ good fortune, what other GG could have possibly survived a bully scandal at debut? Now only survive it, but literally THRIVE afterwards.
HYBE even though it’s not directly their fault they are directly over both companies involved in these scandals but I feel like it’s more of an issue that this company bit off more than they could chew by growing so fast so quickly. I hope with these recent scandals the young giant slows down a little bit before they keep adding sub labels under their umbrella.
