I saw a promo tweet about it and i was planning to make a thread exactly like this lol. Dude has definitely been exposed to a ton of Kpop over the past year, competing against them in music shows, maybe even doing a cover (i swear i saw a clip of him either singing or dancing to a Kpop song lol).

And look at all the Korean comments, it's insane . I always questioned his unique listener counts, he gets way more hype than is warranted because of his rabid fanbase yet never topping 300k ULs even last year when UL counts were higher.

But he is a FORCE not to be underestimated, there is always a chance for him to break through to GP. And this sounds like a MOTHEREFFING BANGER ngl, that EDM sound is right up my alley. And if a boomer like me loves it, his ahjumma fans might also love it as well, maybe they danced to this sound during their 20s and 30s

Tbh i bet that melody/chord progression is in about 1000 songs. It seemed very familiar the second i heard it, i dont care though, still a great sound which is probably why it's used so much.
