Are you tired of Jungkook's new musical direction?

  • Many Armys are not happy with the subtle misogyny in the new collab with Jack Harlow and want the old, meaningful Jungkook back. Do you also feel that way?

  • The thread from a couple of days ago on this topic has a lot of good responses that you might check out. Mine is that Jungkook from BTS and JK the solo artist are different entities, with different approaches and goals. As Chapter 2 has shown, each member is an individual artist and should be allowed to progress beyond the BTS moniker. If that means full English albums and Western-sounding pop songs, that’s their choice. BTS will always exist, but they probably won’t ever come together in the way they were before, and that’s a good thing. The members don’t exist purely to fulfill what fans want for them—they should be allowed to grow and change as human beings and as artists.

You are responding to a troll. It's not worth it. You have better things you can do with your time.

But anyway, OT6 ARMY are Jungkook's biggest antis. Not blonks, not kpop stans, it's the diet OT6 "ARMY" and the akgaes of other members that have been bothered by Jungkook's very existence. And even more so in solo era.

  • The way most angry at him and Harlow's verse are actually nsfw accts/fic writers/shippers predominantly is a curious trend and needs to be studied. The ones who objectify Jungkook and the members the most are seemingly mad that they cannot control his sexuality and mould him into their puppet.

It’s okay for them to read and write about Jungkook having sex with their biases/other BTS members but not okay for the man himself to sing about sex?

This applies to most kpop idols who aside from group career decide to debut solo.

Groups are made of several different people, don't expect group sound in individual careers. solo career is rare opportunity for idols to truly pursue genre of music they always wanted to pursue as one individual.

When they are in groups there are just too many expectations imo.

~ Retired exol, don't ask me about that group. ~
